Our GOAL is to raise £6000 to fund 2 teachers on 2-3 year contracts.
The average class size in Loiyangalani Primary/Junior School is 65, with one class of over 100 pupils and one teacher!!
The Kenyan Government is encouraging more and more children to attend school, and while they are funding the building of extra classrooms, the provision of additional teachers is severely lagging behind.
With additional teachers the children will learn more, pass their exams and have the opportunity to progress to secondary school and ultimately find work.
